Apple Cider Vinegar – what’s the deal?

I’ve been struggling with a massive head cold for a couple of weeks. The type where you have NO energy, it almost feels flu-like. I’ve tried everything I have done before – exercise, rest, eating, not eating, getting lots of rest, doing heaps…you get the picture. (Warning: about to get gross!) But still the phlegm hung at the back of my throat, making everything unpleasant. Another wee problem I’ve been having is my heart – I have Lupus and my heart has either been pounding hard (all the time) or palpitating.

Last night, I tried some ACV and before I had even finished my mug of it, my phlegm disappeared. I could breathe through my nose again! I know it’s got the reputation ‘miracle juice’ but I was a little bit cynical. I must say I’m now intrigued. Lying in bed last night, I noticed my heart had quietened down. Really? One mug of ACV and Manuka honey in hot water can fix everything?

Have you had (or know someone who has had) Apple Cider Vinegar? What’s been your experience of it?

Hi! I did 1 teaspoon of vinegar then 1 teaspoon of Manuka honey and added the hot water, giving it a stir to dissolve the honey. I slept so deeply and feel so much better. When I told my mother about it she told me my Grandparents and Great Grandparents had it every morning with their breakfast! Give it a go, there’s no harm!

I’m definitely going to give it a try. I did a little research after reading your post, and it sounds like it helps with so many different ailments. Thank you!
